This is Ella today sleeping in the living room today. I was relaxing in the recliner watching the memorial on tv for Ft. Hood and the girls were relaxing. How dogs sleep like this I will never know. It can't be that comfortable... but then why do dogs eat some of the things they do....
Ashley has bounced back great and the antibiotics are working without any side effects so far... crossing my fingers!!
Tomorrow is Veterans day and hubby took off so we can go see some of the Veteran's Day festivities around DC. I am proud of him and all of those who are serving and have served! It can be a big hardship sometimes being active duty and the selfless sacrifice so many give is truly remarkable! Let's don't forget the spouses too....
I am off to take one of the kids to karate... if you see a veteran or active duty military member tomorrow thank them!

Thank you for service, it's a family affair.
I was really disappointed that my son's school did NOTHING to recognize it yesterday. He got a note to fill out to put on the bulletin board they are making that lists family members in the service. Um...it's still nice to remember them but shouldn't they have done this sooner?
